NENA Project

The NENA projects simultaneously describes the history of the transnational Network Enterprise Alps. In the EU Alpine Space Programme supported project called NENA a permanent structure has been established. Institutions from almost all the Alpine countries participate in the establishment of the NENA Network. The project itself provided the ground work in the period 2005-2009.

The central aim of the project was to build a professional network of small and medium-sized enterprises in the sector of energy-efficient sustainable construction, in order to achieve competitive advantages in terms of know-how.

Shortly after project end the project consortium (General Meeting) applied for a further trans-national project. The project ENERBUILD is currently in progress and is supported by the coordination office NENA in the field of know-how exchange and public relations. Under the project ENERBUILD the NENA network positioned itself as a platform of expert organizations and SME's in the field of energy-efficient and environmental building.
