Public buildings are role models and pioneers of planning in the Alps. Good architecture and energy-efficient green building in kindergartens, schools, community centers, social centers are critical path towards sustainable building culture in the Alps.

The NENA network seeks therefore to offer the public decision-makers showcase examples, methods and experts to teach them. Critical to the investment in ecological construction is the information to decision makers and reliable evaluation tools for the selection of planning proposals and for the awarding of contracts, and for the construction supervision.
